  1. @iamindy33 Goes to show that Classixz/Griggs/gart are nice enough to keep the server(s?) running, but don't wanna bother working on any demanding updates cuz it's pointless. You keep the server(s?) there for whoever still wants to play, but you, as a developer, move on to bigger things. I'd be doing the exact same thing if I were the one calling the shots. On-topic: the easiest (and probably only beneficial) way of dealing with rulebreakers on BO1's ZAM right now is by doing something to the mod that auto-detects and auto-punishes rulebreakers, but I imagine stuff like that is difficult to condrupt and also make happen. Sad reality of the situation - play and deal with the rulebreakers, ignore them if you can.
  2. @stlmokevin Wouldn't the legs dealing knockback and heads "infecting" you (current zombie limb's job) make more sense though? You know, legs kick you and the head can probs keep biting after death, cuz you know - it's a zombie, ergo, no brain.
  3. I don't even play ZAM anymore, but where's the connection between a hazmat suit and zombie limbs? I mean, I get it, they're infectious, but why limbs of all things? Objectively speaking though, shitty idea and not gonna happen. No offense.

How about both mines and freeze traps that function the way they do now (you're somewhere, you buy a mine/freeze trap from the shop and it gets placed right under your feet), but they start working after 2 seconds? Like, if you're running around, getting chased by a horde of 10 zombies, whichever of the 2 things you decide to use will be pointless unless the horde is a decent distance behind you or you loop around. I like your idea just as much I do mine, to be honest.
  5. Regarding the whole PS4 and XBOX thing, it just goes to show how much influence money has when it comes to videogame developers and publishers nowadays. PS4/Sony funds Activision's pockets, provides consoles and stuff for events and, ofc, as a result, Activision publishes stuff a month early for them. At least that's what it was like with BO3, and still is.
  6. Just wanted to see what you guys thought about the first bit of CoD XP (those of you that saw the livestream, gameplay, or even went there). So far, I'm not impressed by Infinite Warfare at all and I haven't seen anything zombies related, but when it comes to MWR, idk... It feels like Ghosts and I don't like how they're messing with the weapon sounds, and although they are remastering all 16 multiplayer maps and not just 10, I was still hoping for something along the lines of: "Hey, we decided not to be a bunch of dicks and force you to buy a game that you don't want to play just to get a game that you do want to play.", so I hope we'll eventually be able to play MWR without having to get Infinite Warfare.

  10. Ammount of first infected zombies would depend on the total ammount of players on the server (also, nobody mentioned that the max is gonna be 24) and the playable area size. The more players there are and the larger the map is, means there's gonna be more first infected zombies. If we're dealing with a lot of players, but a small map, that means not that many. Not a lot of players and big map = more zombies. Not a lot of players and small map = less zombies. But the math needs to be done pretty well on this, so we'll see.
  11. Something I randomly thought of: The ammount of first infected zombies shouldn't depend only on the ammount of total players on the server, but also the map (map size, to be specific). There's also the fact that BO3 will support custom maps, so if we incorporate those, that's just another reason to keep this in mind.

  13. Speaking of which - every single player (regardless of staff rank, clan rank and ammount of money donated) should have the exact same starting loadout/perks/other stuff. NO EXCEPTIONS. We should come up with other stuff that will look appealing to people, stuff that will make them donate to get that stuff (player skins? weapon camos?).

  18. So, this is something I just came up with. Depending on whether or not ZAM will have perks, I'd really like to be able to see the perks I have on me, basically just like in standard zombies. And I have no doubt in my mind that we'll be able to get custom perks and perk icons, so that makes things even cooler. Same deal with gobblegums.
  19. if Arlington = free (and full) jetpack fuel refill, or it all gets drained if CIA = cadestreaks reset (you start from scratch and you can gain them all over again), or they change to the standard player cadestreaks if Misty = knife animation is 50% quicker, or all knives receive a small chance of dealing no damage upon hitting a zombie

I'd love to see the CoD4 G36C with true physics, BO1 L96A1 with true physics and MW3 MSR with true physics, but I can't stress enough how excited I am to see all of the custom-made weapon camos we'll see in BO3. That's one of the things I'm most excited for. Custom skyboxes, weather (rain/snow for the most part), custom viewhands - some of which are custom-painted gloves (think back to the CoD4 championship days), custom-designed items (think of UGX-Mods's custom Elemental PaP machine) and so much more is why mod tools are gonna be one of the best things that's happened to Call of Duty so far.
