Whether you like what I'm about to say or not, it's the truth and it does abide some of the ZAM rules, but it's for the sake of all players who could use some improving. ZAM has a specific set of rules which, if you follow, you're fine off. Everyone is allowed to play as they please, but - let's face it, when someone says: "I'm fine off playing how I play right now, I don't need to improve, I'm just fine.", they're bullshitting so har. I'm not talking about the people that repetitively do the same stuff (although this post is about them too), I'm talking about the people that know they could do better - the people that get under 20 zombie kills each game, and spend a good portion of the game playing as a zombie (unless the zombies manage to kill all of the humans quickly). So, as much as the staff team looks out to help players when they ask for something via in-game chat or voice-chat, or ask to camp with them at times, and far more, they also push the players and make them do harder stuff to see if they can survive. I'm primarily talking about indy here. indy knows what I mean. Then there's also the stuff the staff team does to get the players out of their 24/7 chain of habits. Like the time when indy ended the game on Villa because about 12 or so humans camped in one single spot which can be covered by a single length of a barricade, and half of them had AA-12s (and caused MyXa to rage his tits off). So, I learned from that too. I did the exact same thing 2 or 3 times when I still had my administrator rank, all because of the same reason. I'm not sure exactly how often the guy Wildey killed goes where he went, but I'm gonna stay neutral on this one because of everything I just said. Furthermore, if someone ever does something like this to you, before you rage your tits off, start soaking your floor in tears of agony and despair (I should write a book), think to yourself: "Why would this guy do this to me?". And no, the answer is not cuz he hates you. In a way, the staff team has always looked past some of the rules to help players out (long-term) and get them off their boring-ass daily dose of nothingness. Say what you want, but this is all 100% correct.

Relying on the "free VIP/MVP week(end)" stuff is more pointless than useful, because it's nothing but a temporary solution. Sure, you'll probably get a few players here and there that will hop on the server more frequently, but for the most part it's gonna be nothing other than a bunch of people who solely joined the server for the sake of that said free VIP/MVP, because they still can't afford to buy that for themselves. Unless you made the server a type of permanent free VIP/MVP thing, I still think this would be rather pointless, as I said. But you should also remember that it's best to keep what's in the US server the same as on EU (read what Kevin said). Adding new textures and items that don't affect the size of the mod too much, and (realistically speaking) are generally possible to add at this point (i.e. a small ammount of shop menu items, replacing current textures with newer and better looking ones, possibly a new sky-box?) will help, but, once again, only to some point. It's also a temporary solution, but still a far better one than just doing the free VIP/MVP stuff. Party games are fun and definitely attract players, but you can see that everyone keeps going back to the same point - rather than hosting party games at random times (announcing them via the Steam group(s), which is bad for two reasons - people might not be on at the time and people might simply miss the announcment(s)), there should be a specific time when party games would play. There's like, what, 14 maps in the map queue in ZAM? After the map queue passes (Array - WMD), host one round of each party game automatically, without it having to be set up manually by a staff member. If the round ends in under a minute or a minute and a half, then possibly even have that round reset (but only once, you don't wanna end up doing 5 rounds of gun game, for example). Finally - and I think this is the best way to both increase the general population of BOTH ZAM servers, and give back to all the players of ZAM - host tournaments. Properly organised tournaments, with rules and restrictions (and prizes too) that anyone can take part in. You can do anything from hosting a simple knifing tournament with ladders (quarter-finals, semi-finals and so on) to anything far more complicated. Prizes should be stuff like: free VIP/MVP (with a solid duration or life-time lasting), smaller ammounts of Steam wallet, Steam items (items that the tournament organiser(s) don't really need and are willing to give out as prizes), free GFX (given that the organising team is consisted of GFX-ers) and so on. To make this even better, why not add a section on the website where ANYONE can set up a tournament? It'd be easy - you set up a date and time (if it hasn't already been taken, you're free to go with it) and say everything you have in mind for your tournament, and then you could have staff members dedicated to reviewing and declining/accepting these tournament hosting requests. Also - do not forget that you'll most likely get the best of players if you host tournaments that are, at the same time - fun, reasonable and unique (while knifing is always fun and hectic, unique camping and cading tournaments never get old (to me, anyway)).

Battle-scarred for you.

I feel like ZAM should have a Meme similar to that one above.

Don't make the same mistake as with Forcefield - make sure you disable cading when using it and all that shit.

You, I like you.

But you can't look back at them later (and I mean days, weeks, months later). This way you preserve them. Either way, we already have a thread for this, I'm just not sure where.

Threat? e.e I) We do play, just very rarely. II) "They don't represent shit." is a somewhat harsh way of putting it. This is so controversial. You're basically saying: "Being 14 years old is the age at which you start knowing your English.". Just like with maturity, there should be no age gate. Staff of UU-K should be able to determine whether or not someone is competent enough to be in UU-K. Yeah, don't pull a mu _ _ er (some will know).
