ZAM Group Headicon??

Alright so I was just thinking while scrolling through the website, and I thought to myself, what if we had a head icon for ZAM group. 

Zam clan group members are in there for what I think is "knowing and playing ZAM a lot" and because of this they should have quite the knowledge? 

When people see this "ZAM" clan in people's name I think it's cool, but the next step would be to add either the symbol of ZAM group membership, or add "ZAM" or even both. I know for a fact that seeing something around someone's head to me, seems like they are further into ZAM than another player, whether it be Admin, Moderator, Member, Or even just a platinum or premium class.

New players I believe will benefit for having more people to go and ask for help, and I think it could be ZAM group membership has a sort of thing to earn the title, 

for example a ZAM group member is helping a bunch of people in-game, so what about we give them a head icon that stands out, and can make more new players come to them. It could also be something that looks really cool, which could even encourage players to be nicer in-game to earn this achievement. 

So bassically you can Apply for ZAM group member and once you've done that if you can prove yourself in-game, Any staff will have the option to give you the head icon to prove that your nice and helpful, and then you ZAM group members get the chance to also have a awesome looking title above your head.

Anyways thanks for your time, I'm hoping this could become true because I think it would be great for ZAM group members and also newer players

Being a ZAM member and being a Trusted Member are two different things. As a ZAM member you have the privilege to put ZAM as your clan tag and I don't think ZAM members get anything else from my understanding. As a Trusted Member, you have a couple new commands you get to use, you get to use UU as your clan tag I believe, and you get a headicon I believe.

Just cause you're a trusted it doesn't mean that you get to use the UU clan tag since they are different thing as UU is the clan and a trusted member is a position on the ZAM severs.

 

You have to apply and get accepted into UU to use the clan tag.

Well no need to do this. ZAM clan tag is just a thing to show that you really care about mod and you enjoy playing it. :>

That makes no sense. Trusted and support staff members are there to provide help to those that ask for it or need it, as well as frequently report misbehaving players, bugs and stuff like that. I'm also pretty sure that they're supposed to know what's discuss-worthy and what is not with specific people, but dividing trusted into subgroups? Nah.

But aside from that, I'm not really a big fan of this idea. I'm not saying it's bad, but there really is no concrete reason to have this ZAM headicon.

I'm divided on the issue. Patzor and I talked about this idea a while back, but never landed on a concrete position really. I think it's not a bad idea, but I'm afraid there would be people who would only apply for the head icon, and still be turds on the servers.

Yes and in this case, it will be very easy to remove it.  And I mean they don't get it they have to earn it, just like any other thing.

There is no reason to though. There's a bunch of players willing to apply for UU or staff and that (should be) all that really matters. Being a part of the ZAM clan is simply a way of showing your liking towards the mod. I'd rather set goals towards getting an actual rank rather than getting a simple headicon above my head. Besides that, there's enough staff members playing and helping newcomers and there's no reason to confuse the newcomers by having them look at random people and see the mod name above their head, lol.

Besides, there's so many better ways of using up the remaining mod space (I'm reffering to custom stuff here) rather than more headicons. VIP, MVP and staff headicons is all that's really necessarry and keeps things straightforward.
