Hey,

For some time now everytime I start my Black Ops Multiplayer there is a NOTICE: The Call of Duty: Black Ops server is not available at this time. Please try again later or visit  http://www.callofduty.com/blackops/status for updates.

 

This is very annoying, because you need like 10 minutes to start your Bo.

If you have any ideas how to fix that , please let me know.

I too get this, I had a friend recommend that I just keep trying, when it say's that the servers are not available, close it out and retry, it might take a couple tries but it worked for me. And I was supper happy when it did cause before trying it I was closing the game out and reopening it.

 

 

 

TL;DR    Try over and over again till it works, should take about 4-5 try's. That's how I got it to work.

I get this all the time, you have to try 10-30 times that works for me. Treyarch might have closed some servers down for Black Ops, never had this issues before..

Just spent about 20 minutes to get BO running.

I think everyone's getting this, It started for me like a month ago maybe more. I usually just keep trying like FlutterShy said and it works on second or third try.

It shouldnt take that long..If it doesnt connect try restarting the game.

Yeah i get this all the time, I try twice and if it doesn't work i close my blackops and open it up again, and it works fine.. Give that a try it might work for you aswell.

I had, and well still do have this problem, but not as often. Few weeks ago i always moaned on dustys chat i couldn't connect, literally raging. Now he rage thru my chat coz he cant connect. hehe cute

Everyone gets this all the time, treyarc closed some servers so it takes longer for you to connect one due to most being full. (they saw not that many players played it anymore). This will soon happen to black ops 2 too since AW is now out. Anyway there's not really a fix but try "Play online" 3 times then restart and then it should work. hope it works.

 

Btw: i get this every single time i try to startup. the things i wrote above works for me you just have to try out what works best for you since you live somewhere else as i do.

It just took about 20 minutes to connect and this can't be the daily routine. No. Just no.

This is a AAA game, they can't just shut down servers as they "want to save money". They have earned millions on this game ranked 14th best selling game ever so not sure what's going on here.

Or russian kids are hacking the servers..

Yesterday there was nothing like this. I started BO and it immediatly connected, I hope it stay like yesterday.

@Bloody I had the same problem once, I searched in youtube.com and found this>>>>

 

 

1=<Look go to Steam, And check if BO1 or Steam have any updates.

 

If it is have an update, update it.

 

2=<Go to Library, right click on BO1, Properties, LOCAL FILES, VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME CACHE, then let the download finish, after I did that I dosen't had that anymore
