We’ve had the pleasure of nurturing Zombies and watching it grow from an Easter Egg made for the fans, to a mode, to its own game and – somewhere along the way – its own lifestyle. Zombies fans are a special die-hard breed of Call of Duty fan and we had the privilege of meeting a few thousand of you at San Diego Comic-Con.

It.

Was.

AWESOME!

What some of you might not know, is that what we did at Thursday’s panel was more than a year in the making.

You see, as a result of our three-year development cycle, we had the opportunity – very early on – to talk about what we could do for our most hardcore Zombies fans. We wanted to do something for those who have been a part of making Zombies what it is today.

Our plans for last week’s San Diego Comic-Con actually began with our presentation at the DICE Summit in February: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iisQ5dOBVFQ

(Coincidence? We think not.)

When we realized we could deliver on having the Juggernog, we just knew that we had to do it. But the Juggernog Editions is only part of the story – we couldn’t wait to bring you Shadows of Evil.

Shadows of Evil is a brand new Zombies experience that stars four tragically flawed characters – the Femme Fatale, The Boxer, The Cop and The Magician (played by Heather Graham, Ron Perlman, Neal McDonough and Jeff Goldblum) – all brought together under mysterious circumstances. During our panel, we premiered the trailer for “Shadows of Evil” that can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kdLqsWDl16c

During our panel, we also shared with fans that we’d be brining back the four original Zombies characters in “The Giant,” a bonus map that is included with all of our Collector’s Editions. It gives fans the opportunity to re-live the chaos of our classic “Der Riese” Zombies map, while picking up the Zombies story with Dempsey, Nikolai, Richtofen and Takeo – right where Origins left off. If you haven’t seen it already, you should check out the trailer for “The Giant” here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmliMQMnUj0

Up until now the Zombies community has never had a physical place to celebrate. And it was awesome to see just how many of your came out to support us in San Diego. For those that made it to the panel – thank you, we really appreciate it. For those that couldn’t make it or who have not yet checked out the trailers that we shared at the show; hopefully, this brings a little bit of Comic-Con back to you.

Thank you!
