It's been a while since I made one of my big-ass posts here, hasn't it? Well, if you look under my profile picture, you'll know why. I resigned from the staff team a while back, but never made my post because I simply just never got to doing it, I don't know why. Now, why did I resign? Well, I've lost the drive to keep administration at its' finest, at least from my part. I've lost the motivation to deal with the everyday kids that get on just to fuck around with other people and generally break house rules. I've lost touch with this community, slowly, but surely. Things aren't the same for me as they were before. I don't know, I just stopped playing Black Ops out of the blue, as I am not interested in it as I used to be. I feel like this has been accumulating over time, because I don't have the chance of playing this game with some of the people I used to enjoy playing it with the most (iKinG, Wast, KickArse, Estima, etc...). Everyone's moved on to new things. Even I have. I've recently joined a recognizable Multi Theft Auto clan and I've put all my effort into helping it become better than ever, as I'm not the only thing that's new to it. It's dev team now has one of the best developers I've ever met, and he's also someone who loves doing his job, so I find pleasure in helping him out with ideas and testing. I've also found my sweet spot on the clan's server, as it is big and always populated. It's a European server that has about 150 people during the day (at once) and about 30 at night. There's always someone to talk to. I still enjoy spending time on TeamSpeak with Kevin and the guys, which is why I asked Classixz if I could keep my TS3 rights (for joining rooms, or at least until a new tag is implemented which will mark me as a retired staff member and will (hopefully) allow me to join the same rooms as I can now). We all move on. That's the inevitable truth. Not much more I can say. All I can say is, I'm proud of what I've helped this community become, I'm proud of myself and everyone else who's been by me all this time, I'm thankful to my friends for supporting me and getting me to where i ultimatively got. Who knows, maybe one day I will re-apply for staff and start fresh. I don't mind that. But, for now, things are how they are. And I am not saying that I am gonna stop being forum active and stop playing ZAM, no no. Especially because summer break is just around the corner. However, you can notice that my activity has become lower. Finally, I wish the best of luck to the community and the staff team, hopefully my spot will make room for someone new, someone who will prove himself, just like I did. Best of luck, UU. :)

ZAM v1.8. will start up once Classixz (the mod creator and owner) finds the time to be right. Meaning - once everything he plans on adding is ready, fully tested, organised and once he simply finds the best time for a launch of the update.

Mini tutorial by Ramsy: Each CUSTOM WEAPON (a weapon that is not from Black Ops 1 singleplayer or multiplayer) has something called IMAGES - images are a property/setting that custom weapons consist of, which make the weapon what it is. Essentially, THE MORE COMPLEX (BIG, MANY ANIMATIONS, SOUND EFFECTS, ETC...) THE WEAPON IS = MORE IMAGES (and it's better for a custom weapon to have LESS IMAGES, so that you can have MORE CUSTOM WEAPONS in ZAM). It's perfectly fine for a custom weapon to have more images, but everything is centered around BALANCE. You can have a mix of many smaller weapons or somewhat less bigger weapons, but the IMAGE LIMIT CANNOT BE EXCEEDED. To put in perspective: Spectre SMG - NOT a custom weapon; Galil AR - NOT a custom weapon; L96A1 sniper rifle - NOT a custom weapon; SKORPION SMG - a custom weapon; Kar98k rifle - a custom weapon; DSR-50 sniper rifle - a custom weapon. RANDOM AND COMPLETELY MADE UP examples of an IMAGE LIMIT - 10,000 units (ten thousand units): MLG Minigun with laser beams and Deez Nuts sound effects - takes up 8,000 units = can be added; PaP Ballista sniper rifle - takes up 1,000 units = can be added; LYNX sniper rifle - takes up 2,000 units >>> CANNOT BE ADDED BECAUSE IT EXCEEDS THE IMAGE LIMIT BY 1,000 UNITS! Essentially - considering ZAM is currently pretty much capped in terms of images, to include the P90, you would have to get rid of 1 or 2 custom weapons that are currently already in the mod and replace those with the P90. The same rule applies further on - to get a new custom weapon, you'd have to get rid of 1 or 2 custom weapons already in the mod right now. So, ask yourself: 1. What new weapon do I want? 2. Is it worth being added to the mod? 3. If the answer to Q2 is "Yes.", then what do we get rid of to add this new weapon? You also have to understand that Classixz has to actually either find these custom weapons or create them himself, then test them, then add them to the mod without ruining any other parts of the mod and afterwards get spam from randoms about his decision about adding the said weapon either being extremely good or extremely bad, so be patient and be conservative. Hope you all understand. Classixz and Rollon will pretty much laugh out loud when they read this, cuz I probably completely explained this wrong. e.e

It's not about what you did or did not do. It's primarily about you - the user/player - having fun and enjoying your stay here. Staff is not something that's given out to people easily. Then again, even if you don't receive it, it's nothing to be troubled about. Same goes for actually being in the clan. Sure, you're not part of the clan itself, but you're here, having fun with your friends. Ain't that what really matters here? To put in perspective, as long as you enjoyed your stay here, I'm happy for you. Don't hassle yourself with not making it further. You were a good friend to many of us, that's the most important part here. You think I'd change how I treat my friends here if I lost my ranks? Ask BIGz, Bluebird, Kevin and Pat and see what they tell you. The UU-K part was nothing but circumstancial at the time. And considering UU-K is currently deader than dead, you're not missing much anyway. All in all, I hope you enjoyed your stay here the most possible, and have fun with whatever you continue doing from now on. Just don't pull a KickArse and become a console peasant. >.>
