Fairy Squad Mother is about to gush. I joined this community less than 2 years ago, on the 8th of June, 2014. Since that time, I've been a Guest, Regular, Member, Moderator, Senior Admin, and now Head Admin along-side @The One Patriot. Looking back, it feels like that time has come and gone very quickly. Almost 2 years should feel like a lot (to me), but it doesn't. This community has in a very real way become my second family. The friends that I've made here will transcend the video games we play together. I hit 1000 rep today. It's weird. Rep shouldn't mean that much, but it does. It means overall my opinions on these forums have been agreed upon 1000 times (at least). It's good to know the community you care so much for shows that love in return. To celebrate my little personal victory, I will tell you all how I came to ZAM and this community. I found ZAM during a transition in my life, leaving one major career for another and taking a huge risk in doing so. During this transition, my then 6 year old son Charlie (whom some of you now know and have played ZAM with) joined a modded server on Black Ops. It was ZAM. Charlie tells me it's fun, but people are using bad words I immediately kicked him off my computer and told him he cannot play ZAM anymore. That rule only lasted a few months, but I still don't allow him a headset. The cries are real But I'm the curious sort, so I joined the server and played a few rounds. I was addicted. I saw the messages about TeamSpeak, so I downloaded it and immediately started chatting up the staff and members, becoming fast friends with people I still to this day talk to. I've gained some responsibility since those early days, for my loyalty and presence in ZAM and this community. This has never been a burden to me, because I'm doing it to protect something I truly care about. Having people at my side like @The One Patriot helps with that. I'm not sure I would be the staff member/player I am today without Pat. He's truly a good friend of mine, a person who has also earned respect in this community for his skill and patience. (I could make an entire fanboy post about Pat without blinking probably). Having the trust and respect from @Classixz & @Griggs makes all the difference. Having you (the players) respect means everything. Thank you for being what I needed during many hard times and good ones. We're still growing as a community and will continue to do cool stuff together. ~Kevin PS- 1000 rep bish, get on my level.

In my opinion, if the entire ZR clan is a joke. They hold little voice chat meetings, talking about the fall of ZAM "which is going to happen soon". pffft. those kids are so jealous of us its laughable. They took the original uzm mod files and edited them, and think they made a mod. The level of disrespect they have for our rules and players is troubling. Ruiz or King or whatever he wants to call himself has been banned several times for glitching and teaching glitch spots. He's been banned for specifically the glitch mentioned above as well. The next report I see about him glitching (with valid proof) will earn him a swift ass kicking.

I usually get a ballistic within 2 rolls. karambit within 5 if not the first. it's random. I'm not sure about the consuming bit. It kind of defeats the purpose if we can just keep eating the knife till we get the one we want without earning the points.

Sometimes there are indeed try-hards on the servers who camp 24/7 even against newer players, it's a sad truth. When this happens to me, I just go extra hard and kill them all (hopefully). If they complain when you kill them, or claim they will report you, let them try. None of the staff will ban you without valid proof, and if they do you should come to The One Patriot or myself. We will deal with them accordingly. Staff have to follow the rules as well, and if they aren't they can be banned or demoted for their actions. As with any report, be sure to supply valid proof. There are still good players out there, I promise you. Don't leave for the bad ones sake, otherwise they win.

The easter egg on nuketown is one of ZAM's greatest mysteries. Not a single player has completed it in all this time. Pretty awesome actually.

Today I banned a player for disrespect. That in itself isn't a big deal really, as it happens occasionally. Normally I wouldn't think twice about it, but I feel like giving him a chance. First, he joined on Nuketown with KnFa | Classixs. He quickly left and rejoined with just KnFa |. Fine. Then he starts camping with Forcefield. Pat warned him. Then he starts bickering over his microphone.. Blah Blah Blah. So I verbally warned him. He argued. People ask if they can leave, he tells them it's ok. I took issue with that. He argued. I warned him with the warn command. He didn't stop bickering. Starts talking trash. His friends start joining in. sigh.. In the end I hit him with a 2 day ban. I feel he deserves the ban, but I'm willing to lift it if the community feels I should. I don't think I banned him without reason, I feel staff should be respected if we're to enforce the rules. I'm not someone who makes impulsive decisions, however I feel I would be wrong if I didn't give the community a chance to comment. FYI- I banned him for 2 days.

This spot is so scary! Zombies are literally flying at you. It will create some pretty intense moments for sure.

I like the darkness. This is a MOD about Zombies after-all. It shouldn't be bright and sunny. It should be dark and scary!
