This idea could be worth a try but I'm not sure how others would feel about this. This is why I waited for others to post their opinions before I posted mine. Would B3 automatically ban the person once he leaves or would B3 wait a few minutes and then ban that person? I mean if B3 automatically bans the person and the person rejoins problems may occur. Problems such as people would message the admins asking them to unban them for various reasons (apparent reasons). Or we may get many Ban appeals on the website which I'm not sure many of us even want to see. But if B3 waits a few minutes and then bans a person there wouldn't be any problems occurring. Yet I'm not sure if B3 even has a feature to wait a few minutes then ban the person. Do the people have the choice to be banned for a certain amount of days or do they have the choice to play as a zombie for a certain amount of matches?

This is a topic regarding reports. I did a video on how to report players the correct way. The good thing is I don't have to write a lot since I added a video. Hopefully I covered everything if not tell me and I will do my best and reply. Let's just see if people can report the correct way in the future.

I just love how people nowadays are trying to get certain admins kicked out of the staff team because they either hate that person or wish that person never became an administrator in the first place. Those who wanted to be an admin had to work really hard to become one and they did. If you have a problem with an admin you can either deal with it or message that certain admin some how (either on the website or on Steam) and message that admin saying how you really feel about them. They'll understand and hopefully you'll understand. There's been certain people who have made topics saying that this admin should be demoted for what he did. But we either banned the guy for what he did or we absolutely didn't do anything at all. I guess it just depends on what the admin did. No matter what, people will either support Plattfuss or people won't support Plattfuss. I've known Plattfuss since the day he became a moderator and to tell you the truth he's a pretty good admin.

No problem for banning him. But I mean still it'd be a better idea to report people in the Report Player section instead of the General Section. But still I'm always on the website and I always check the reports so no worries. I feel like I'm the only admin who does reports but there are other admins who do reports but they rarely do it. I understand why you would say that but the good thing is that I'm here.

I checked Horky's report and no one saw it. So, I went to echelon, went to this guys name, checked his recent bans before I banned him and didn't see BLOODY's name until yesterday. I must of encountered some bug the day I banned him. -.-

Maybe you are just saying that to save your ass. Why can't people just admit that they did it? But instead people just want to come up with an excuse to get themselves unbanned earlier. Hopefully my comment might help you guys out since you didn't know what Bluebird was talking about. Simply there are a few ways to mute people one of them being what you said going on to your options and muting that person. But that just mutes the users microphone yet that user who you muted can still type in the in-game chat. There's simply another way that not that many people know of because the command is rarely used nowadays. And that command is the !mute command. This command is only eligible to admins not for everyone so if you thought hey I can mute everyone from now on then you're wrong. Simply you just do !mute *persons in-game name* and it will mute that user. In other words, the user will be forbidden to type in the in-game chat. But if that user is muted and types in-game he will get a warning stating "You are not allowed to talk." But if the user reaches an x amount of warnings he'll automatically get banned for a day. Let's see if you guys understand now. -.-

Well, when I first started playing ZAM (this was the time when the mod was like what 2 weeks old), I met people but I mean they didn't even welcome me at all or even help me at all. I practically taught myself to play the mod until I met the admins which were MyXa, Classixz, and Ramsy. They then taught me more and nowadays I try my best to do what you said in your video. Try to get new players to keep on playing our mod. Not be that harsh and make them leave on the first week. Those are some great points. I'll think about what you said and try to get new players to be in our mod for as long as it lives. Good points indy :) Like yesterday I met a new player named Dragivex_fist. I tried welcoming him, committed suicide for him, tried helping him the best I could but he was really shy to type. I understand new players. So, if array will be the small map then we should adjust it up a little bit and not let it be like last time. What I was thinking was, we could leave small array like it was before but people hated it so much. All they would do is go camp at that OP flag spot which was a disadvantage for the zombies. If we leave it like we did before then we could consider the following: 1) Make there be 2 entrances at that C2 spot and we'll see if it will work out. 2) Maybe change the spot up a little bit? 3) Keep it like it was. But people would argue about this option. People enjoyed small array but the only problem was that OP flag spot. We could consider the following: 1) We have 1 flag placed somewhere in the middle building. The only problem is, Array is practically its original map unless we block off all the exits in that middle building. 2) I thought of having multiple flag spots yet that may be a problem as its practically just going to be Big Array anyways. So I thought of maybe having at maximum of 2 flag spots on Array. Options could be C2, C3, or around the D4 and D5 area. But I am not sure how this would work. Would we have to block off some areas or what? 3) We could have no flags but have many spots in the small map of Array. Might be a lot of work and might be strange. But how would people do the Easter egg then? I mean it's possible to do the Easter Egg on Array but you just never know if there's a barrier outside the map. -.- I want to reiterate something again. indy, when I asked you about how the rotation worked I wasn't really clear on that at all. What I meant to type was, let's say we're on Array and it's the easy mode. Once the game ends, will the game restart and go on to the hard mode or would it just rotate like it always does? Sorry for not being clear about it.

I was reading this last night and it made me think of something. Something that I really like and support. Good job indy. I've been apart of the mod (community) for 2 years and I am still here today. I've played Black Ops for a good 3 years (2 years on ZAM) and I understand that the game may be old and boring, but I try my best to be active for as long as I can. I do take breaks once in a while just because there aren't that many people on during the schooldays and I understand. But during the weekend, there's always people in both servers which is strange but yet fun. Went a little off topic there, but I will try to stay on topic from here on out. :unsure: The 2 round system thing could be worth a try and we'll see how the players think of it. I like taking challenges and ZAM might look cooler and different. As I mentioned, I've been here for 2 years and you definitely don't know how I feel whenever I play on the ZAM server. I mean everyone always camps in those same spots every round every rotation and there is no fun in that. I as an admin try my best to think of other spots that I can try out that people haven't tried out before (or have tried out a spot and to do it myself). I understand that you guys might say that I too camp in the same spots some of the time. I do camp in the same spots some of the time just to either help those noobs or try out something different in that spot. Nice going on these ideas, indy and Faith. Now let's just wait and see what will really happen in version 1.8. Will it be different or will it stay the same like always. A few additional notes or questions: 1) How will the rotation work? 2) If we use the !maprotate, !fastrestart, or !maprestart commands would it ruin the rotation? 3) If we add this 2 round system thing, will this really attract more players to join ZAM?

@Faith There are a few individual admins who don't really use the rage quit shortcut at all. Like for example I think I have never done the rage quit shortcut. I mean even though it says "Rage Quit is NOT allowed" that doesn't really show me anything good at all. That just shows me that everyone cannot leave the game as a human (survivor) yet they can, and that the only time they can leave is at the end of the game, the loading screen, before the match starts, or as a survivor (human). I went beyond and made my own rage quit greeting to show everyone that I ban that they cannot rage quit as a zombie. I mean it doesn't matter what you use (the rage quit shortcut or your very own rage quit greeting). But you could prefer to have your own rage quit greeting (if you want to do it that way).

Your ban started on April 11th, and ends on April 26th. At first when I read this, I thought he was saying that he got banned on April 24th yet that day hasn't happened yet. -.- The man has 5 tempbans but according to his chatlogs all the guy does is rage quit under 11 zombies. BIGz did the right thing banning you this long because you constantly rage quit. I mean it's 9 days later and you make a ban appeal. Gg, wp. I feel like you won't be unbanned by BIGz but you never know. Maybe in the next few days something might change his mind and unban you. We will just have to wait and see. There's the nice admins and there's the mean admins. 2) When you encounter an admin in-game do the following: 2a) Just play the mod no matter how bored you get eventually you'll leave once the game is over, on the loading screen, or before the game starts. 2b) Remember this. If you see someone rage quit and an admin bans him it shows everyone in the game a few things. Don't do what that guy did. Just stay in-game and try your best not to rage quit. 2c) I understand there are those times where you need to go get food, go to the bathroom, help your parents with something and what not but it would be best to do those things first, then you can have fun playing ZAM. But when you made your account on the website I wasn't really sure if you would fit in with the community. At first you did, but then you started making these worthless (really annoying) topics and comments. This led to the -1's people gave you and here you are today at -148 reputation. I remember before you were leaving we (you and I) were talking on Steam because you really wanted to be friends with me again, I guess.
