Hello fellow ZAMers, The fairy squad mother has a brief public statement to make about ZAM and our community as a whole. First thing's first though: 1.) The community is NOT dying, collapsing, drying up, (insert your verb here)... If anything ZAM has done extremely well this year as a whole. If your judging ZAM by your amount of communication with the Owner, or the few times you've played lately, your tripping. The new version has been relatively bug-free (with the exception of a few), and has introduced things that changed the gameplay in positive and exciting ways. (new maps, skins, etc.) 2.) If you make a post that falls along the lines of "ZAM is dying", then your most likely doing so because you think it makes you influential in some way, or because the few times you've played you didn't do very well. Play more. I swear, people making these posts are doing it for the same reasons people still add a cat image as their avatar. People jump on bandwagons, even if they make no sense whatsoever. Don't be one of those people. 3.) Indy is a big boy. He made his own bed. (have you seen his abs? holy shit) I think losing Indy on the staff team was a great loss, but I respect his decision to step back. You need to start looking at the big picture here people. ZAM is not going to live or die based on any person that isn't Classixz. Class has a life outside of ZAM. Respect that sometimes he needs a break as well. If something game-breaking comes along, he'll fix it. Otherwise lay off the guy. Right now I'm focused on new players, and keeping the servers clean and fun for everyone. I don't care if your staff, members, or just regular players; if your only intention is to hop on the servers and shit on people when your doing good or bad, then I will handle you accordingly. Lets keep ZAM fun for everyone. Rant over. EDIT: If you are somehow offended by this (@hunting) than your probably the type of person we don't need on the servers anyways.

I have to agree with horky here. If you are losing interest in ZAM that's one thing, but saying the community is collapsing just because you're not playing is sorta pretentious.

Eh. what he did isn't new or anything, and used to be far more rampant. He's seemed to quiet down since getting called out, so hopefully the problem has resolved itself.

have you tried reformatting the hdd and reinstalling windows from scratch? it would take a few hours, and you'd lose everything on there, but it might work.

Sorry iFrupiss but your entire message seems like a contradiction. You complain about people acting like idiots, yet you describe your past with zam as "That angry idiot that just argue with everyone and is rude to everybody". If you lost interest and moved on, that would be one thing. But you clearly still care about the community, or you wouldn't be here to complain about it. Bottom line, the ZAM community may have issues, but ZAM itself is still thriving. If it hasn't moved in the direction you want it to, well what can I say? I think new players have more help and support now than they ever did "in the old days". There will always be asshats who try to hurt other people to make themselves feel better, but that has never and will never define what ZAM is. Especially while I'm a part of it.

I think practically anyone who wants to help new players can and should, but I think maybe we should limit who the mentors are to Trusted Members or UU. Reason being that some of the "mentors" may not have the right attitude in-game, and I wouldn't want negativity being spread in any form whether it's toward players or certain rules you may not agree with.

Hello ZAM family, Another idea from the geezer of UU, how about a mentor program for the newer players? We could find the UU members who would be willing, and pair them with a new player that would like a little help learning the mod. We could setup a time that both could be on, and spend a little time sharing what knowledge we have with players who may otherwise be left questioning the many aspects of ZAM. I don't expect people to feel obligated to spend hours upon hours every day with these newer players, but maybe an hour here and there to help them out. Maybe you'll make a new friend or two out of it? Either way, I think it makes us stronger. Do you think this idea is a good one? Hint: (yes) I'm going to throw myself out there to start it off. I'm usually available anytime after 5pm - 10pm Central Time.

I agree, it would definitely make for a lot of new players during the event.

with respect to fnaf, i think the games are very different. ZAM has enough "jump scares" in it if your not hard camping the entire time.
